The Winthrop Art Association’s annual Art Festival for 2008 was an exciting event this year.  A lot of new exhibitors joined in this year and wonderful art and crafts were on display.  The WAA was happy to give scholarships this year to two deserving graduating seniors who are continuing in art studies and they are Victoria Darnell and Nina Fedotov.

Richard Honan’s Beach Glass class had a beautiful display of their work.  On Saturday, we were entertained by the duo Contempaissance, Gary Jackson, classical and acoustic guitar and Donna Kennedy, flute.  The music was lovely.
