Welcome to the long awaited summer!
but first I would like to recap the last month. We have just concluded our annual Spring Art Festival. This is our 40th year anniversary and we would like to thank all of you for celebrating with us. Below is a list of our prizewinners and our faithful sponsors of this year's festival.
We would like to send our deepest sympathy to the Schreibman family for the passing of our beloved board member Michelle Schreibman. Her passing was sudden and she passed right at Festival time. Even though the Festival was a total success it was also a very sad time too. Michelle passed away on April 23rd. The WAA is accepting donations in her name to plant a tree in Israel and plant a tree here in Winthrop and also give donations to the American Cancer Society. You can send donations to the WAA at PO Box 520010, Winthrop, MA 02152.
