A recap of Summer Events
The WAA was represented by a few of our members at the Chamber of Commerce's sidewalk sale days in May.
In June, the WAA, in conjunction with Save, The Harbor Save The Bay, went down to Winthrop Shore Drive for a Day of Art on the beach, inviting people to join in with us. We are still planning a show to display of the work produced at the beach. An exhibit of the work the artists did will be on displayed at the October Fall Fair and Craft Show on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 11am to 3 pm at Ingleside Park, rain date October 4th.
Our annual Art at French Square was held in July and Art at Crest Ave Park was held in August. Both were a lot fun. This such a good time for our members and gives them another outlet to show and sell their work.
FALL DAY TRIP
Our fall day trip will be on Sunday, October 18th. Our day trip will include the Portland Art Museum, in Portland, ME, the Clam Bake restaurant in Scarborough, ME, and a last stop at the Kittery Outlet Malls.
